Highland Pines Health And Information Fair
On May 23rd from 11 a. m. until 2 p. m., the Highland Pines Home Association and Crime Watch Group will be hosting a Health and Informa- tion Fair at the Crime Watch Community House, 3302 Star Street.
There will be free food and free blood pressure checks. You will also be able to pick up your tickets for the Highland Pines Family Movie Night in the Park that will be held June 12th.
Fire Damages Bathroom At Tampa Bay Tech
This is what’s left of a bath- room at Tampa Bay Tech after a fire was reported Wednes- day.
On Wednesday, Hillsbor- ough County Firefighters were called to Tampa Bay Technical High School at 1 p. m. about a fire.
When units arrived at the school, they found heavy smoke coming from a bathroom, and were able to contain it to that location.
The cause of the fire hasn’t been determined, and students and faculty were evacuated from the school before fire- fighters arrived.
