AIKENS
MR. EDDIE LEE ANDERSON, JR.
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Eddie Lee Anderson, Jr., of Tampa, FL., who passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022, will be held on Satur- day, October 8th, 10:30 a.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Pastor William Granville, will be officiating the service.
Eddie Anderson, Jr. was born on March 11, 1989, in Tampa, FL, to Eddie Anderson, Sr., and Margaret Anderson. Eddie was an entrepreneur. He had a love for music, guns, and cars. If he could go to Shooter’s World every day, he would be there. Eddie enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. He was always the life of the party. There was never a dull moment with him around. He could light up a dark room wherever he went. If you came into a place where there wasn’t any joy, Eddie could make you laugh when there wasn’t any- thing to laugh about. Eddie never took life for granted.
   Eddie will always be our original King of Comedy.
Eddie was preceded in death by: his grandfather, Eddie Lee Anderson, Sr.; aunts, Sheila Turner and Sherbia Johnson; and godbrother, Fredrick Doby.

The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, October 7th, from 4:00 to 8:00. The family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home on Saturday for the service. The repast will immediately follow the funeral. We are following CDC guidelines.

MR. OSCAR BELTON, JR.
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Oscar Belton, Jr., of Tampa, FL, who passed away on Thurs- day, September 29, 2022, will be held on Saturday, October 8th, 10:00 a.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, officiating.
Oscar Devone Belton, Jr. was born on November 23, 1946, in Tampa, FL, to Oscar Belton, Sr., and Thelma Williams-Belton. Oscar Belton, Jr., graduated from Middleton High School in 1965. He served in the United States Army and was honorably dis- charged. Oscar had his own secu- rity business. Oscar enjoyed dancing, traveling, spending time with his family and friends, and being a family Historian.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Oscar Belton, Sr., and Thelma Williams; son, Ter- rence Coleman; brother, Robert Belton; and granddaughter, Se- quoia Belton.
He leaves precious memories with: children, Oscar Belton, III (Brenda), Andre Belton, Sr. (Veronica), Alonso Belton, Alex Belton, Gerald Belton, Marlon Belton (Jasmine), and Cantrell Belton (De’Andra); grandchil- dren, Leonard, Tiara, Ayana, Ja- Mario, Octavia, William, Deonte, Imani, Andre, Jr., Joshua, An- dre’Ana, Detreveon, Candra, Can- drianna, and Ya’Anaiah; great-grandchildren, Tashad, Ty’Onnia, Aaliyah, Khaleil, Zhiyaah, Saya, Reign, and Xavia; brother, Ronald Belton (Tonya); sisters, Gloria Young (Raymond), Shirley Belton-Chatham (Fred- die), Sylvia Darby, and Helen Bel- ton-Simmons (Willie); best friends, Mr. CJ and Mr. Jack; family friend, Elizabeth Belton; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

MRS. MILDRED McCOY MORELAND
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Mildred R. McCoy More- land, of Tampa, FL, who passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022, will be held on Saturday, October 8th, 1:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Mar- tin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Tampa, FL 33602, Pastor C. L. Harris, of- ficiating.
Mildred was born on April 16, 1938 in Baxley, GA, to Elijah McCoy and Zora Lee Floyd McCoy. She married Jasper Moreland and moved to Tampa, FL with her four children where she lived for 15 years. She relo- cated to Fort Myers, FL, where she lived for 40 years. Mildred loved to cook, read, and watch her afternoon soap operas (“the Young and the Restless” and “the Bold and the Beautiful” were among her favorites). She loved her family; her grandchildren were her prized possession. Mil- dred worked in the healthcare field as a cook and a caregiver until her retirement. After retire- ment, she relocated back to Tampa, FL, where she lived with her daughter and grandsons.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Jasper Moreland; son, Nathan More- land; sisters, Clara Williams and Mary Lucy McCoy-Tyler; broth- ers, Charles, Ira, Sr., Johnny, James, Fentrice, Quitman, and Cleophus McCoy.
Mildred leaves to cherish pre- cious memories with: her daugh- ters, Guinell Moreland of Tampa, FL and Iris Grier of Houston, TX; sons, Tommy Moreland (Loretta) of Tampa, FL, Larry Moreland (Anne) of Leigh High Acres, FL, James Anderson (Marcia) of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, James Daniels, Robert Porter, Gale Moreland, Vonseatta Cobb, Lyndie Avery, Tosha Moreland, Nathan Moreland, Jr., Eddie Williams, III, De’Vonte Williams, Darione McCarter, Paris, Jr., Par- nell, Leasha, and Irianna Dabney; great-grandchildren, Javonte Daniels, Charlese Porter, MaNyah Williams, Vonecia Car- swell, Briana Lewis, Jamal Gos- ton, Statelyn Avery, Nigel Sampson, and Ma’at Lee; great- great grandson, Jaiden Daniels; three very close nieces, Alma Jean Jiles, Mildred Elaine Smith, and Mildred McCoy-Singh; and a host of great-grands, great-great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

MS. ALTAMESE WARREN
A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Altamese Warren, of Tampa FL, who passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, will be held on Saturday, Octo- ber 8th, 1:00 p.m., at Aikens Fu- neral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Elder Ammons, officiating. The inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Altamese was born on Au- gust 11, 1952, in Tampa, Florida, to Fred Warren and Beatrice Small. She was employed at a prestigious firm in New York City in lower Manhattan as a secretary. She possessed great intellectual clerical skills. Al- tamese was very ambitious and headstrong. She had a beautiful and friendly smile.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves precious memo- ries with: her son, Kwasi War- ren; brothers, Wesley Warren (Dorothy), Freddie Warren (Betty), Lenard Warren (Ver- nal), and Delanor Warren; sis- ters, Angelina Warren, and Mayetta Cartwright.
