Mr. Ernest L. Powell of Riverview, FL. went home to be with the Lord on May 27, 2015.

Mr. Powell was born June 20, 1946, to the late Henry and Josephine Powell. He was a 1964 graduate of Howard W. Blake High School. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged.
He retired from the Georgia Department of Health as a maintenance supervisor. After retir- ing he began working as a chauffeur for Bishop Willie Toomer of Al- bany, Georgia, until his health began to fail.
He leaves to cherish his memory and cele- brate his life: his only child, son, Corey Powell (Veronda) of Atlanta, Georgia; sisters, Sandra Powell Flowers of Tampa, and Kim Russell of Atlanta, Georgia; brother, Reginald Pow- ell of Tampa; grand- daughters, Asia and Alexis of Atlanta, Geor- gia; many sorrowing family members and friends, Traci, Eric, Kevin, Lil Ron, Velma and Jacquline Stewart; sisters-in-law, Theresa Powell and Maria Pow- ell; and a host of ex- tended family in Albany, Georgia.

MS. ROSSIE DAVIS TRIPLETT
Ms. Rossie Davis Triplett of Forest Hills, Queens, New York, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 12, 2015, at 1 p. m. at Ray Williams Memo- rial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Rossie attended the Hillsborough County Public Schools and was a graduate of Middleton Senior High School, Class of 1951. She earned a B. S. Degree in Education from Florida A. & M. University in 1956 and a Master’s of Science from St. John University, Queens, New York in 1981.
In 1964, Rossie be- came a public school teacher at the Brookfield School in Queens, New York. She received many commendations for her commitment to education of children in District 29, Queens, NY.
Her sons, Roscoe Jr. and Robert will forever cherish her memories. Also her siblings, James Davis, John Davis, Bet- tye J. Davis and a special sister-in-law, May Triplett Williams / Cur- tis Williams of Tallahas- see, FL; and many nieces and nephews from the Davis, Campbell, John- son, Jackson and Taylor families; and a host of cousins and friends.
The remains will re- posefrom4to7p.m., Thursday, June 11, 2015, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

MRS. ANNIE PEARL RICKS
Funeral service for Mrs. Annie Pearl Ricks, who passed away on Sat- urday, June 6, 2015, will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at 1 p. m. at Kingdom Hall of Jeho- vah Witnesses, 3804 Danny Bryan Blvd., Tampa, Bro. John Hen- don, overseer, with Bro. Charles Green, offici- ating.
Mrs. Ricks leaves to cherish precious memo- ries of her with: chil- dren, Rudolph Ricks, Jr. and wife, Yvette T., Calvin D. Ricks and wife, Denise, Mervaine D. Ricks and Sharon M. Ricks McNelly and hus- band, Hubert A., III; 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Ray Taylor and Mack Taylor; sisters, Ginnell Sims, Caroline Heard and husband, Jimmy, Gloria Elliot, Marsennia Haynes and husband, Greg, and Martha Ann Watson; and other relatives and friends.
A native of Hampton, Georgia, Mrs. Ricks had resided in the Tampa area since the late six- ties.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Je- hovah Witnesses, East Tampa Congregation.
Friends are asked to assemble at the King- dom Hall on Wednesday at approximately 12:45 p.m. for the service.
