Tampa P.A.L basketball team, then transitioned to coaching little league football with the Tampa Eagles for several years. He also coached the Belmont Heights Major Little League Baseball team and Hillsborough High School Junior Varsity Team.
Eddie was employed with the City of Tampa Water Depart- ment, Tampa General Hospital and he later retired from the Tampa Sports Authority.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Louise Fuse and Ho- race Edmonds.
Eddie leaves to cherish memories of him with: his life partner, Lillie Martin; 4 dy- namic sons, Eric (Phatisha) Ed- monds, Derrick (Malika) Edmonds, Cedric Edmonds and Alfred (Karla) Martin; 13 grand- children, Kayla, Judah, Ahmad, Mekhi, Caziah, Nahla, Nasir, Caleb, Noelle, Desmond, Alecia, Alfred, Jr., and Austin; siblings, Josephine Spivey and Christine Vickers; nieces and nephews, Naadira Mubarak, Daryl Ed- monds and wife, Jerry Burch and wife, Daurius Burch and wife, Walter Burch and wife, Phyllis Duck, Ronnie Richard- son and wife, Andrew Richard- son and Amanda Spivey; and a host of sorrowing great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Homecoming Celebration for Mr. Eddie J. Edmonds, of East Tampa Seminole Heights, who passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 2:00 p. m. at Greater Mt. Carmel AME Church, 4209 N. 34th Street, Tampa, Florida with Dr. Apostle Terry Weems, officiat- ing. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Av- enue, Tampa, Florida.
We are honored to share the life of Eddie J. “Coach Freddy” Edmonds. He was born March 16, 1949 in Tampa, Florida, to Louise Fuse and Horace Ed- monds, who loved him dearly. Eddie attended schools in the Hillsborough County Public School System and graduated from Howard W. Blake High School where he played on the basketball team under the late coach, Jim Williams. He had a desire to coach at a young age. He later coached the West

ing.Calvin was born on March 2, 1946, in Eufaula, Alabama. Calvin was a classic car enthusi- ast. He enjoyed cooking, Negro League baseball, listening to music, fishing, and spending time in the great outdoors.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; Jimmie Lou Hard- away and Samuel Coleman, Sr.; stepfather, Enmon Osgood; sis- ters, Jimmie Mae Davis, Ella Mae Hardaway, and Delores Lawson; and brothers, Daniel Hardaway, William Coleman, and Charlie Coleman.
He leaves precious memo- ries with: his sons, Calvin De- vose (Barbara), Napoleon Laws, Zabrien Hardaway, Sr., and Antwan Hardaway (Shereeka); sisters, Catherine Morris, Doris Henderson, and Betty Key; brother, Samuel Coleman, Jr.; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jaylonda was born in Tampa, FL on June 30, 1991, to John L. Small and Lisa Samp- son-Green. She attended Leto High School and enjoyed singing, dancing and cracking jokes. It is known that Jay- londa’s favorite colors were red and black, and she thoroughly enjoyed eating and catching up on her favorite TV shows.
Jaylonda was preceded in death by: her mother, Vallecia Sampson-Green; her father, John L. Small; and her grand- mothers, Annie Mae Davis and Juanita Sampson.
Jaylonda leaves to cherish her memory: four brothers, David Fogg, Walter Sampson (Jaszmin), Ethan Sampson, and Kaylin Small; two sisters, Jen- nae Sampson, Ladedra Green; nephews, Walter Sampson, Jr., Marcus Glanton, Elias Sampson; 5 nieces, Kia Glanton, Jordyn Sampson, Tamara Fogg, Jayda Sampson, Joy Sampson; and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.

MRS. SUMMERVILLE WHITE
Mrs. Summerville Evelyn “Evie” White passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, after an exhausting battle with a de- bilitating and ravishing form of Dementia. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, 9:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Ave., Tampa, FL 33606.
Mrs. Summerville was born into a fairly large family, the fifth girl of six girls and one son, on October 30, 1938, to Ora Dee and James Jones in Gilbert, VA. She met the love of her life, Army Spec5 William Henry White and they wed in Pennsyl- vania, going on to have two daughters, Loretta White Ayres and Michelle Marie Brooker, and a son, the late William Henry White, Jr. She excelled at supporting others through her passion and career in nursing and home health care, which she retired from in 2002. Mrs. Sum- merville was passionate about people, always the “hostess with the mostest”, filling her home with warmth and kindness and we will miss her greatly.
She is survived by: her brother, Russell W. Jones; two daughters, Loretta W. Ayres, and Michelle Marie Brooker; grandchildren, Aliza N. Ayres, Jesse D. S. Thomasson, LeGrande Brooker, and Ian Brooker; 9 great grandchildren; and a plethora of nieces and nephews.
