Veteran journalist, Roland Martin, known for wearing his ascots and his tell-it-like- it-is style of journalism served as the host and managing edi- tor of NewsOne Now.
The struggle is real for news around the world, and espe- cially for Black news report- ing. ‘Social media has taken over, and although most peo- ple don’t know where the news comes from, it’s all most need now,’ says an analyst.

Release Gospel Album And His Evangelist Mom Approves
Snoop Dogg is planning on getting into the "spirit" next year.
He is planning a full- fledged gospel album in 2018. According to Snoop, the project was inspired by his mother, Beverly, who gave her stamp of approval for the album, a well-known evangel- ist and 47-year member of her church, who travels the nation spreading the gospel
of Jesus Christ.
"I have always wanted to
try Gospel. This may surprise some people but all I gotta say is get ready for some good for your soul music in 2018,"
Calvin Broadus aka Snoop Dogg and his mom, Evangelist Beverly Broadus.
Snoop Dogg told Billboard. While the project has yet to be named, Snoop has been teasing the gospel project

After a decade apart, CeeLo says he and Danger Mouse, real name Brian Joseph Burton, have been working on new material.

Danger Mouse and Ceelo are reuniting after a decade to create a new Gnarles Barkley album.
Cardi B and Offset may have gotten over the leaked video that allegedly suggests that he cheated on her, but it doesn’t look like they’re going to let the hackers who dis- tributed the video get away scot-free.
Cardi’s lawyer, Scott Mason, has stated that the video and others were ob- tained illegally and that the rapper is going to pursue legal recourse against the perpetrators.
The videos that leaked last Friday included a clip of Cardi dancing naked as well as a video of a different woman walking around a hotel room au naturel osten- sibly shot by Offset himself.
While the video sparked rumors online that the

However, while Cardi
wasn’t phased by the leak of her nudes (after all, she openly embraces her past as a stripper), she was more in- terested in catching the hack- ers and holding them responsible for stealing the footage in the first place.
