MRS. MARY
ELIZABETH ‘PANANIE’ BROWN
Celebration of Life for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Brown will be held Saturday, December 30th at 2 p. m. at Heaven Destiny As- sembly of God, 4104 E. Ellicott St., Tampa, FL, 33610; Tom Jones, Sr. Pastor and Pastor Sherena Woods officiating, Apostle Tony Woods eulogist. Interment will be made in Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery.
Mary was born in Quitman, Georgia on February 8, 1954 to the late Wesley and Lula Mae Brown. She attended public school in Hillsborough County and was employed by Jackson Hewitt Tax Service for more than 20 years. She was very loyal and devoted to her family. Mary will be truly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; son, Ricco Brown; beloved grandson, Ter- rance Coleman; two brothers, Willie Ponder and David Pon- der.
She leaves a lifetime of memories with: her husband, Willie Brown; daughter, Bon- nita Brown (Nate); three sons, Willie Brown, Jr., Eric Brown (Latoya), and Bryant Brown (Crystal); step-daughter, Keshia Brown; grandkids, Antwan Slater, Chrishonna Brown (Dale), Lanita Slater, Eric Brown, Jr., Kierra Brown, Kan- hija Bland, and Kerhiyha Bland; two great-grand, Za’riyah, and Zayvion; three sisters, Doris Brown (Sylvester), Velma Brown and Kathy Brown; one brother, James Brown; two aunts, Annie Clyde Givens, Quit- man, Georgia and Alberrta Bright; sisters-in-law, Mary Crawford Ware (Trent), Patri- cia, Renae, Peggy, Linda Craw- ford; brothers-in-law, William, Joseph, Adrian, and Clarence (Florence) Crawford; nieces, Tonya (Rick), Deborah, Dana, Kechia, Meoshia, Kristiana, Courtney (Willie), Temeka, Renita (Travis), Angie, Felicia and Michelle; nephews, An- thony, Ricky, Aaron, Rodney, Sylvester, Jr., David, Jr. (Shonita), Henry and Mike (Lacitia); godsons, Jitt, Shawn and Cat Nose; devoted friends, Virginia, Tonya, Doreen, Geor- gia, Josett Powers, Georgia Syl- vain and Georginna Robinson; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too many to name but, all loved by Mary.
Visitation for Mary Brown will be held Friday, December 29th at Harmon Funeral Home from 5-8 p. m. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p. m.
The processional will arrange at 1:45 p. m. on Satur- day at the church.

SISTER IRENE HUNTER BRINSON
Take my hand, precious Lord. Acknowledging God’s gen- tle tap with an obedient nod and a peaceful smile, Sister Irene Hunter Brinson was called home to glory on December 21, 2017.
Homegoing services will be conducted Saturday, December 30, 2017, at 2 p. m. at Friendly Missionary Baptist Church, 2012 North Tampania Street, Tampa, FL, 33607, with Pastor Johnnie Miller officiating. The Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Sister Irene Hunter Brinson was born on August 29, 1941, in Benton, Mississippi, relocated to Tampa, FL when she was a pre-teen, and graduated from Howard W. Blake High School, where she met and married a fellow Yellow Jacket, Deacon Freddie J. Brinson, Sr., star of- fensive and defensive football player (Big Forty).
She was a woman of quiet style and amazing grace. She liked traveling and collecting hats, and she loved three things: shoes, shoes, and more shoes! Sister Brinson was priceless as a selfless wife, mother, and grandmother, who generously shared her love, care, and sup- port and when storms were rag- ing she helped guide her family through with power-filled
prayers.
Sister Brinson was a dedi-
cated member of Friendly Mis- sionary Baptist Church for 40 plus years. She was active in nu- merous roles such as the Sunday School Superintendent, Chair of the Deaconess Board, President of a Mission, a Choir Member, and a Youth Director. She joy- fully used her God-given talent for service in every aspect of her life to make a positive difference with family, friends, and count- less others. Sister Brinson’s on- going love for the Lord illuminated her path as a walk- ing witness. It is also uplifting to note that with each passing day, even in the midst of numerous tribulations, she exercised her faith and continued to thank and praise the Lord.
Sister Brinson was preceded in death by: her husband of 50 years, Deacon Freddie J. Brin- son, Sr.; her parents, Joe and Dorsey Hunter; and a brother, Darnell Hunter.
She leaves to cherish pre- cious memories of her wondrous love, boundless service to others, and her undying dedication to God: her son, Freddie Brinson, Jr. (Jencey); and daughter, Dr. Sabrina A. Brinson; grandchil- dren, ShaVonne, Freddie, III, ShaTayshia, Samuel, and Sheri- dan; great-grandchild, Grant; a sister, Jacquelyn Hunter (special caregiver); and brothers, Joe Hunter, Jr., Fredrick Hunter, and Reginald Hunter; a brother- in-law, Reverend Arthur Brin- son; and a sister-in-law, Sharon Brinson; special caregivers (Diana Hicks-Ellison and Jim- mie Hicks); a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday, December 29, 2017, at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. M. L. King, Jr. Boulevard, Tampa, FL, 33610 from 5–8 p. m., with the family present to re- ceive visitors from 7–8 p. m.
Friends are asked to assem- ble at the church on Saturday, December 30th at 1:45 p. m. for the service.

MRS. FANNIE MAE MOORE DIGGS
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Fannie Mae Moore Diggs who passed away on Sat- urday, December 23, 2017, will be held on Saturday, December 30th, 12:30 p. m. at Re-Birth M. B. Church, 1924 E. Comanche Street, Rev. Dr. Zachary Hud- son, Pastor, Pastor R. Lockett, eulogist. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Fannie was born on October 15, 1939 in Dublin, Georgia to the late Exodus Moore, Sr. and Eddie Mae Solomon. She served in the Mother’s Ministry at Re- Birth M. B. Church and The Place Church, Tampa, FL.
She was a native of Dublin, GA and moved to Tampa in her early adult life. She was a long- time employee at Hillsborough County Hospital, Tampa Gen- eral Hospital and Town and Country Hospital as a cook. Fannie loved traveling, cooking and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by; her parents; siblings, Theodis Moore, Sr. Thurman Moore, Sr., Exodus Moore, Jr. (Albert), Simon Moore, Doretha Moore Denson, Betty Moore Wright and Willie Gene Moore; and step-daughter, Beverly Ann Diggs Lewis.
She leaves to cherish her memories with: her children, Sharon J. Moore, Rufus Diggs, Jr. and Tim Diggs, all of Tampa; grandchildren, Rashard Diggs, Danyell Diggs Davis, Roderick Diggs, Mya Marie Diggs, Rashawn White, Julian Soto, Mario Bennett and Brittani Lewis; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Edsel Moore (Dora) of Butcher, NC; sisters-in-law, Maggie Moore and Mamie Lois Barker of Detroit, MI and Lor- raine Walker of Detroit, MI; brothers-in-law, Eddie Diggs, Sr. and Arthur Diggs of Eufaula, AL; uncle, Douglas Moore of De- troit, MI; a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.
The visitation will be held on Friday, December 29th from 5 to 8p.m.

MR. L. J. ‘JAMES’ MCCLENDON
A memorial celebration for L. J. “James” McClendon of Tampa, Florida, who passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017, will be held Saturday, De- cember 30th, 11 a.m. at Church of Christ at Southside, 6411 12th Ave. South, Min. Demetris Bryant, officiating.
L. J. “James” was born Au- gust 2, 1941 to the late Tom and Vera McClendon in Blakely, Georgia. He was the oldest of five children. He was baptized into Christ in 1985. L. J. was married to Ellease on June 20, 1986. To this union one daugh- ter was born, Brenda Diana (Jewel) Webb. He was a long- distance trucker for 45 years, but the work he loved most was serving as a minister for 10 years at the Church of Christ, Arboringdale. He loved chil- dren and always took time to talk and listen to them. He was a kind, loving and compassion- ate man.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: his loving wife, Ellease; 1 daughter, Brenda Diana (Jewel) Webb of South Carolina; 4 goddaugh- ters, Lisa and Katrell McDuffy and Robin, all of Tampa, FL, and Venessa U.
