MR. EDWARD JAMES ‘PUNKIN’ FIPPS, JR.
Homegoing Services for Mr. Edward James Fipps, Jr., who passed away on December 18, 2017 will be held Saturday, De- cember 30, 2017 at 11 a. m. at Highland Avenue Church of Christ, 2800 N. Highland Av- enue, Tampa, FL, 33602, Brother Darryl Beasley, Minis- ter, officiating. Interment will be made in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Bro. Edward James Fipps, Jr. was born November 13, 1979 in Tampa, FL to Everlina and Ed- ward Fipps. Brother Fipps was educated in the Hillsborough County Schools. He worked at Kay B Toys for 5 years, then he modeled for a couple of years. He was also employed with Mar- riott, where he worked a few more years. “Punkin” loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Edward; paternal grandparents, Leonard and Florida Fipps; his maternal grandfather, Johnny Bell; aunts, Sonya B., Patty B., Gwen B., Mat- tie C., Sarah S., Lillie M.; uncles, Ricky S., Antwan J., Willie F., and Keith B.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Everlina (Cookie); 5 sisters, LaDasha (Alain), LaToyia (Saliym), Shenita W., Daphne W., Stephanie W.; 2 brothers, Ty- rone W., and Tyrone F.; grand- mother, Dorothy S.; aunts, Anita (Toby), Maria P., Keisha B., Dorothy Jean (Kelvin), Bobbie Jean J., Charlene R., Brenda J., Alice Louise, Pearlie Mae, Ear- lene C. Visitation for Bro. Edward James Fipps, Jr. will be held this Friday, December 29, 2017 from 6 p. m. until 8 p. m. at Highland Avenue Church of Christ, 2800 N. Highland Ave.
The processional at the church on Saturday will arrange at 10:45 a. m.

MS. MARY LILLIE LEE BROWN
Ms. Mary Lillie Lee Brown of Tampa, FL was called home to Glory to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 21, 2017. Funeral services will be con- ducted on Saturday, December 30th at 11 a. m. at New Rising Star Ministries, 1509 North Bay Street with Reverend Otis B. Cooper, II, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Mary Lillie Lee Brown was born September 27, 1947 in Miami, Florida to the late Ernest Humphrey and Mary Ridley. She was a member of New Rising Star Ministries. Mary was a lov- ing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grand- mother, sister, aunt and friend.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her daughters, Angela Tillman and Shelia Hicks.
She leaves her loving memo- ries with: 3 daughters, Twanda Green (Dulie), Krista Lee (Ty- rone) and Laurette Perkins; 2 sons, Michael Blangot (Gwen) and Johnathan Allen; 21 grand- children, Derek Owens (Jessica), Tiffany Pierce, Kina Alexander (Kelvin), Bethel Pierce, Kenny Alexander (Kizzy), Jerome Blan- gor, Desarae Evans, Chante Blangor, Katrina Alexander, Michael Blangor, Jr. (Mirada), Keisha Alexander (Adrian), Willie Evans, Jr. (Jackie), Kristopher Alexander, Demar- cus Evans, Kevin Alexander, Ke- juan Alexander, Shaquille Butler, Cortney, Christine, Layla and Kynnedi Allen; 34 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchildren, De’lahni Archie; sisters, Cynthia Echols and Denise Ridley; brother, Thorn- ton Humphrey; 5 nephews; 4 nieces; best friend, Ms. Linda (next door neighbor); friend, Shelia Milton and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mary Lillie Lee Brown was loved and cherished by many. She was a very humble and won- derful person and will be missed by many. “We Love, We Love, We Love you Mommy.”
The remains will repose and the family will receive friends
from 5 to 7 p. m. at New Rising Star Ministries.

MR. EMORY TYRONE JACKSON
Mr. Emory Tyrone Jackson, 75, passed away on December 23, 2017, at Willson Hospice House in Albany, Georgia. His funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at 2 p. m. at Mt. Pleasant Mission- ary Baptist Church, 2002 N. Rome Avenue, Tampa, Florida, with Reverend Dr. C. T. Kirk- land, Pastor, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Emory Tyrone Jackson was born August 29, 1942 in Ran- dolph County, Georgia to Emory and Mattie Pearl Scott Jackson. Emory was a 1961 graduate of Howard W. Blake High School and member of Howard W. Blake Marching and Concert Band. He was also a member of several other organizations.
He is survived by: his wife, Barbara Moore Jackson; and children, Sharon Davis (William), and Darrell C. Jack- son, Jacksonville, FL; grand- children, Sherica, Erica (Richmond), Gabrielle, Jemar- cus (Brittany), Destiny, Darrell, Jr., and Geonia; 9 great-grand- children; siblings, Mattie Jack- son (Curtis), Albany, GA, Ruby Jackson, Joanne Grady, and Sammie and Dorthenia Jack- son; father-in-law, Reverend George Moore, Rockford, IL; brothers-in-law, Freddie Moore (Barbara), Curtis Moore, Cordele, GA; sisters-in-law, Reverend Helen Mercer (Sim- mie), Americus, GA, Marilyn White (William), Columbus, OH, Georgetta Lawson (Kenny), Oceanside, CA; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, December 29th at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

Committal will be made at the Chapel.
Sister Clarice Forbes was born to Archie Rogers and Sara Josephine Graves on January 28, 1944. She attended public school in Topeka, Kansas. In later years she married Joseph Forbes, Sr. and to that union was born six children.
Our sweet beautiful mother, Clarice “Recee” Forbes passed away peacefully on Friday, De- cember 15, 2017.
Mrs. Forbes was preceded in death by: her father, Archie Rogers; mother, Sara Josephine Graves; daughter, Sarah Rivera; and her siblings, Bernie, Clarence, and Lenora.
Clarice leaves to cherish her fond memories: her children, caregiver, Josephine Forbes (Gene) Cox, Antonio (Tabby) Forbes, Joseph (Wanda) Forbes, Reggie Forbes, Johnny Forbes; grandchildren, Elaine, Michelle, Kiana, and Briana Forbes, Jasmine (Jimmie) Pet- tis, Rebecca, Freda, and Ebony Favors, Tammy (George) Swain, Dewayne Parks, Michael (Tiffany) Parks, Shaun, Joseph, Marcus and Gino Forbes, Vin- son Rivera, Benjamin “Popa” Marcus, Sammie Gay; close family friend, Bert Godwin and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other rela- tives, friends.

Homegoing Services for Michael Jermaine Porter will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 11 a. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th Street, Tampa, FL 33610, with Pastor Roy Williams of College Hill Mennonite Church, offici- ating. The committal will be made at the chapel.
Michael was born on June 26, 1984 in Tampa, FL to Nina Hopson-Brown and Herbert Porter. He was educated in the Hillsborough County School System. He accepted Christ at an early age and united with College Hill Mennonite Church. On Saturday, Decem- ber 16, 2017, God saw that Michael’s burdens were more than he could bear, so he dis- patched one of his Angels to bring him home.
He leaves to cherish pre- cious memories: a loving and devoted wife, Felicia Porter; step-daughter, Rochelle Miller; son, Micah Porter; a loving mother, Nina Hopson- Brown; and father, Herbert Porter; grandmother, Ruby Hopson; eight sisters, Katrina Bryant, Alicia Day, Lakisha Hopson, Danielle Porter, Chi- anti Carwise, Nadra Marbra, Nicole Porter, and Dion Porter; two brothers, Carlos Hopson and Fabian Hopson, all of Tampa, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, other rela- tives and sorrowing friends.
