SUBJECT: School Counselor BACKGROUND: “I studied Psychology at Argosy Univer- sity, Atlanta. I obtained my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at the College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown, New Jersey. I later obtained my Educational Specialist Degree in Counseling Education from Augusta University.
I began working as a school counselor at KIPP AMP Charter School in Brooklyn, New York. After relocating to Augusta Georgia, I worked for Columbia County Schools as well as Richmond County Schools as an Elementary and Middle School Counselor. COMMENTS: “I relocated (for the final time!) to Tampa and am currently enjoying my role as a School Counselor in the middle school setting. I
am a Positive Psychology Practitioner and Life Coach outside of the school sector. I am a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., as well as Jack & Jill of America, Inc., Greater Tampa Chapter. I am married to Dr. E. Leila Jerome Clay and have three children, Kylii, Khloe and Kristian Clay.”

COMMENTS: “I am cur- rently working at my neigh- borhood school in which I once attended. I was raised up right down the street from Marshall Middle School. I am related to most of the people in this small town of Plant City, so a lot of the students are related to me in some way. I continue to teach at this
school so that I may be an in- spiration to my relatives that attend here. I also pride myself in being here to help them with classes and making sure they stay on the right track to make it to High School.”

COMMENTS: “Being an ed- ucator is the best job ever. You get the opportunity to in- spire students, and prepare them for their future. Know- ing that I can make a differ- ence in my student’s lives, is best part about being an edu- cator.”
