MS. HELEN JAMES
Homegoing Services for Ms. Helen James, who passed away June 3, 2018, will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 2 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610. Pastor Rodney Norton, Assistant Pastor, The Center For Manifestation, officiating. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Tampa, FL 33610.
Helen James was born July 27, 1946, in Lakeland, Florida, to the union of the late Russell Lee and Maggie Mae Slater. She later moved to Coolidge, Georgia and then Tampa, Florida. She spent her last days at the Abbey Rehabilitation Center in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Helen was a very caring and kind-spirited woman, loved by all who knew her. She was a mother to her children and grandmother for most who knew her. Helen spent her working years as a licensed hair stylist after earning her li- cense at Wilfred Beauty Acad- emy in Tampa.
She is preceded in death by: her mother and father, Maggie Mae and Russell Lee Slater; her husband, Andrew Lee James; her oldest son, Ronnie Dewayne Slater; and her daughter, Sylvia Ann Harris.
She leaves to carry her legacy: brothers and sisters, Mary Davis, Deaconess Bar- bara Ann Diggs, Deloise Slater, Loretta Slater, Mitchell Slater (Milton Green); Life Partner, Milton Green; her two daugh- ters, Cynthia Ann Harris and Regina Lanette James (Ken- neth Arthur Douglas); her god- children, Magnolia Walker and Carmen Loveras; her grand- children, Tyrone Harris, Kevin C. (Rebecca) Cargile, Jr., Tamika N. Jackson, Irvin L. Preston, Jr., Bruce Harris, Ernest (Shaniqua) Thomas, Jr. and Ernisha L. Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and great-grandchil- dren.
Visitation for Ms. Helen James will be held this Friday evening from 5-8 p. m. at Har- mon Funeral Home.
The processional will as- semble Saturday at 1:45 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mr. Sathurnin Seshie-Mensah, “Mr. T”, who passed away May 28, 2018, will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018 ,at 10 a. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610, Elder Dr. Ofori Boateng, officiating. Inter- ment will be at Rest Haven Me- morial Park, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Tampa, FL 33610.
Sathurnin was born March 5, 1944 in Aflao, Ghana to the union of Kossigan Seshe Kom- ahe and Zoué Nanegbe. He was married to Ndelo Nana Dliane Sylvie and had eight children.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife; children, Edmond Seshie, Nicholas Seshie, Matilda Seshie, Robert Seshie, Christopher Seshie, Teresa Se- shie, Augustina Seshie and Afina Seshie; siblings, Lucas Komahe, Cecilia Komahe and Pepinue Komahe; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation for Mr. Sathurnin Seshie-Mensah will be held this Friday evening from 5-8 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610. The processional will assemble Sat- urday at 9:45 a. m. at the Chapel.

MS. DIAMOND DASHAWN COPELAND
Ms. Diamond Dashawn Copeland of Tampa passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted Sat- urday, June 16 at 2 p. m. at First Baptist Church of Progress Vil- lage, 8722 Progress Blvd., with Reverend Dr. Samuel Maxwell, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Ceme- tery.
Ms. Copeland is a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, FL. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Tampa Bay Technical High School, Class of 2012, and furthered her education with Indiana State University. Ms. Copeland for- merly held employment with Moffitt Cancer Center, Hilton Garden Inn, and Aramark Food Service at Raymond James Sta- dium.
Diamond actively partici- pated in running 5K Events, and enjoyed bicycling, cooking, preparing vegan food dishes, and commercial art drawing.
She was preceded in death by her: great grandparents, James and Marie Powe, Rachel Philon and Georgia McQueen; uncles, James Curtis Powe and Steve Powe; and cousin, Meshel
MR. WILLIE D. JOHNSON
Mr. Willie D. Johnson of Tampa passed away, Thursday, June 7, 2018. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, June 16 at 11 a. m. at New Bright and Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1805 N. Albany Avenue, with Reverend Pierce, officiating. Interment will fol- low in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Willie D. Johnson was a native of Canton, Mississippi and a resident of Tampa for over 60 years. He was educated by the public schools of Hills- borough County and was a member of New Bright and Morning Star M. B. Church. Mr. Johnson was employed as a Mechanic at Ernie Haire Ford.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Coleman John- son; mother, Mariah Johnson; sisters, Helen, Rosa Lee, and Ada Mae; and brother, Jack, all of Canton, MS.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted wife, Lizzie Johnson; his three daughters, Sabrina Johnson, Linda Johnson and Michelle Johnson (Steven); stepson, James Jones (Regina), all of Tampa, FL; five grandchildren, Charles “Jay-R” Nelson, Jr., Nathaniel Williams (April), Shamara Brown, Deja Turner and Z’nai Villegas; four great grandchildren, Ka’hniyah Nel- son, Ja’nysia Nelson, Ja’Mari Nelson and Julian “Ghost” Adams; all of Tampa, FL; sis- ters-in-law, Frances Johnson, Norcross, GA; two nieces, Debra Johnson, Concord, NC and Wanda Johnson, Dacula, GA; three nephews, George “Jerry” Johnson of Marietta, GA, Charles Thomas, Bronx, NY and Tracy Johnson, Bronx, NY; god-children, Tamara and George Cox, Pamela James, Willie “Snoop” Johnson, Latasha Campbell and Alyce Brown; dearest friends, “Slick,” Johnny Knight (Barbara), John Reynolds, Sylvester Carver, and John Branham (Delphine); and a host of relatives and friends to include his New Bright and Morning Star Church Family.
