Rob Kardashian And Blac Chyna Are Engaged
Tyga Says He’s Glad Blac Chyna ‘Is Happy’
This diamond was certainly rough on his bank account.
Reality star Rob Kar- dashian forked over a whop- ping $325,000 on the mammoth, glistening engage- ment ring he bestowed upon girlfriend Blac Chyna on Monday, according to TMZ.
The 28-year-old sock de- signer reportedly purchased the 7-carat, VS1 clarity round- cut diamond from acclaimed celebrity jeweler Ben Baller — who shared a closer look at the eye-popping bling on his Instagram account Tuesday.
"Congrats to @RobKar- dashian & @BlacChyna on get- ting engaged," he captioned a close-up video of the ring. "Rob, I have never seen you this happy before and I've known you since you were a teenager."I'm glad you came to your day 1 homie to get this massive (ring) for your lady," he continued. "You know I

Neither Kardashian nor Chyna have commented on their reported engagement yet, but like Baller, Chyna's best friend — model Amber Rose — appeared to confirm it’s le- gitimacy with a celebratory In- stagram post on Tuesday.

Will Smith is basking in a bit of hometown glory, and you know what? Who can blame him. It’s just been an- nounced that the Academy- Award nominated actor along with his wife, Jada, have be- come majority owners of the Philadelphia 76ers.
According to reports, a press conference was held in which the Hollywood couple was in- troduced as the now majority owners of the beloved NBA team, replacing now minority- interest owner multi-billion- aire Joshua Harris.
Harris, since October 2011, was a leading financier and long-time majority owner of the team. The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania graduate once led a group of investors in the purchase and with the excep- tion of the Smith’s and Harris’ equity, no other structural changes were announced. The NBA Board of Governors unanimously approved the transfer of majority stake over

to The Smiths.
In a brief statement, Harris
thanked the Hollywood power couple for leading the fran- chise into the future.
The team was originally pur- chased by Harris’ group for anywhere between $270 and $290 million, with a now esti- mated value of $700 million, the amount of money ex- changed for the Smith’s to be majority owner is somewhere between $250 million.
Suge Knight’s Lawyer Alleges Scandal And Massive Cover-Up Involving Dr. Dre
Simon Cowell Says‘ American Idol’ Fell After He And Paula Abdul Quit
Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell.
Suge Knight’s lawyer is claiming “a massive scandal and cover-up” that possibly in- volves a hit man and Dr. Dre are behind the Death Row founder’s extreme jail restric- tions.
In a lengthy legal motion filed last Friday, lawyer Thad- deus Culpepper argued Knight is being held without phone, mail or visitor privi- leges to keep him from “con- necting” his pending 2015 murder case to the 2014 night- club shooting that nearly killed him.
The filing alleges that the main sheriff’s detective now investigating Knight for mur- der also worked the nightclub investigation and previously told him a man identified only as “Tee-Money” confessed he was one of the shooters in- side 1Oak.
The same detective “in- formed Knight that the gun- man stated that Dr. Dre paid him and a friend $50,000 to kill Knight,” according to Culpepper’s motion.
Dr. Dre, 51, is the wildly
successful rap mogul who re- leased his 1992 breakthrough album “The Chronic” on Death Row but later cut ties to Knight.
The new court paperwork further claims that an off-duty sheriff’s deputy “was seen on video letting the gunmen in the front door of 1Oak.”
That same deputy allegedly was later seen at LAX airport "helping the gunmen flee the country,” the filing reviewed by the Daily News claims, and au- thorities "inexplicably released Tee-Money."
Knight, 50, was shot six times inside 1Oak but report- edly managed to walk outside and seek help after the barrage of bullets.
The Friday filing doesn’t state a motive for Dr. Dre to order a hit on Knight, but it references a recent news story titled “Can Knight Get A Fair Trial?” by writer Michael Douglas Carlin.
The Carlin story, attached as an exhibit to the motion, claims Knight was seeking money from Dr. Dre.
‘American Idol’ has fallen so far that its former star doesn't even watch it anymore.
"I haven't seen it at all, so I wouldn't have a clue as to what it looks like now," Simon Cowell snidely told The Daily News on the eve of the Fox tal- ent show's final three episodes this week.
Cowell, who has joined NBC's "America's Got Talent" as a judge this season, believes that "Idol" went downhill after he and Paula Abdul left.
She quit the show in 2009 after failing to negotiate a new contract and he left in 2010 to produce “The X Factor.”
Cowell said he is still close with the other co-stars, Randy Jackson and host Ryan Seacrest. But “Idol” producers — whom Simon said he remains friendly with — have struggled to find a panel of judges to match the original chemistry and the panel has had many faces since he and Abdul departed.
Jay Z and Drake
It’s been quite the eventful day for 27-year-old Blac Chyna. The socialite took to Instagram Monday (April 5) to show off her new 7-carat en- gagement ring from her now fi- ancé, Rob Kardashian. And while the two lovebirds are knee-deep in their lovebirdness, the Internet couldn’t wait to see what her ex, Tyga, who is cur- rently dating Rob’s little sister Kylie, had to say about it.
In a series of Tweets, T-Raw took the high road and extended warm congratulations and posi- tive vibes to Chyna and Rob. “It makes me happy to see the mother of my son happy,” he tweeted. Who attends the wed- ding will be another topic, for another day.

Twitter Reacts To Jay Z’s 1 Bar On Drake’s Song

A new Drake tune featuring JayZhasgottobeahomerun, right? Not if said cameo from Hova totals about one bar, or maybe two, but who’s count- ing?
Such is the case on Drizzy’s new single, “Pop Style,” which touts a The Throne feature. While Kanye West does drop a lengthy verse, Hova’s contri- bution was relegated to a cou- ple of lines.
Needless to say, the Twitter peanut gallery reacted with plenty of jokes.
