MS. VERA ELIZABETH HART
Ms. Vera Elizabeth Hart, "Bess" of Tampa, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 at Melech Hospice House, Tem- ple Terrace, FL.
Funeral services will be con- ducted, Saturday, April 9 at 2 p.m.atMountZionA.M.E. Church Riverview, 5920 Robert Tolle Drive, Riverview, FL, 33578, Reverend Karen Jackson Sims, officiating, with Reverend Bryant Fayson, eulo- gist. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Vera E. Hart attended the public schools of Hillsborough County, and retired from Hor- ton Dry Cleaners on Main Street.
Vera was a member of Mount Zion A. M. E. of Hyde Park and Riverview for 85 years, the Floral Club, Women Missionary Society, The Lay Organization, Mass Choir, Stewardess Board and Sunday School.
She was a former member of the Eastern Star Organiza- tion.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Mr. James Campbell and Mrs. Willie Mae Starling Harris; her sisters, Rosa Lee Thomas, Ira Lee Ennis and Elnora Mayweather; and brothers, Freddie Starling and Johnnie Starling.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her sisters, Ann Mosley, Emerine Matthews, El Paso, TX, Lorraine Hunter, and her devoted sister, Willie Mae Gadsden; brothers, Robert Thomas (Brenda), Mid- dletown, PA, and Rudolph Starling, Crowley TX; nieces, Pamela Colleton, Wanda Star- ling, Gaile Mayweather, Karen Hernandez, Carol Shepherd (Raymond), Deirdre Starling, Mary Jacobs, Renee Thomas (Allen), Pamela Starling, Kim- berly Mosley, Anya Rivers and Sharon Hooks, Phoenix, AZ; nephews, Alfred, Michael (Pamela), Myron, Oliver (Va- lerie), Eric Ennis, Craig Thomas, Wayne and Jay May- weather (Felicia), Anthony (Sarah), James (Shantrell) Black, Reginald Reed (Va- lerie), Hinsdale, IL, Cadell (Rose), CA, Michael and Steven Mosley, Steven Starling, CA, Derek and Darin (Lewanda) Hunter, Georgia, Darryl and Freddie Starling, Jr., Tony Wimbley, Fredrick and Lothario Overstreet, Kevin Clethen (Velva), Johnnie, Jr. (Rayna), and Tommie Starling; a host of grandchildren, and great grandchildren; and cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.

MRS. RUTH MICKENS HARRIS ‘RUTHA MAE’
A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Ruth Mickens Harris, af- fectionately known as “Rutha Mae” of Tampa, who passed away on March 29, 2016 will be held on Saturday, April 9 at 11 a. m. at Peace Pro- gressive M. B. Church, 2607 E. 24th Ave., Rev. Albert Gall- mon, pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by: her brother, Pasco Nobles; nieces and nephews, Doris Thomas, Elizabeth Tim, Ruth Smith, Johnnie Mae Fleming, Emma Hendrix, Mary Harris, Claretha Harris, Howard Har- ris and Leroy Harris; and spe- cial friend, Mattie McCarr.
She leaves to hold precious memories of her life: loving and devoted nieces and care- givers, Cheryl and husband, Andrew Wilson, Sharman Thomas, S. Jeneil Thomas and Terril Nikki Rivers; nephews, Willie “Guts” Hendrix, and Duane Thomas (Tia) and chil- dren, Brianna, Mason and Madison; godson, Sheldon Mc- Carr (Jennifer) and children, Jasmine, Kesha, Tiffany, Keith and Jahia; a host of relatives including, the Belle Nobles, and Susie and Jett Harris fam- ily; lifelong friend/neighbor, Mrs. Margie Nickerson and family; and the 1943 class- mate/friend, Ernestine Pon- der.

MRS. BRIDGETTE MICHELLE WEAVER SHAW
Mrs. Bridgette Michelle Weaver Shaw, the daughter of Rose and Thomas Weaver, Sr., was born on April 13, 1974 in Tampa. She departed this life on March 24, 2016.
She joined First Mount Carmel AME Church, where she remained through her life; serving until her illness and death. She attended Buncombe County and Asheville City Pub- lic Schools in North Carolina.
She met and married Shawn Shaw of Tampa. She was em- ployed as an environmental specialist and later became an entrepreneur until her death.
Bridgette was preceded in death by: her sister, Ellen “Jean” Weaver Taylor; her grandparents, Alma and Robert Fields, and Ellen and Robert Weaver; 4 uncles, Robert “Bobby” Weaver, Jr., Richard “Ricky” Weaver, Robert Fields, Jr. and Rogers McFadden; and 4 aunts, Cor- line Langston, Mercedes Miller, Marjorie Covington and Willie Mae McFadden.

On April 3, 2016, Kenneth “Big Man” Earl Snead saw an angel who called him home.
Kenneth Snead was born to Lorethia McWhite and guardians Eugene and Adell Snead in Lakeland, FL, on Sep- tember 29, 1957.
He was employed with Shriners’ Children Hospital in Tampa. During his leisure time, he was an avid BBQ Chef.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Lorethia McWhite; guardians, Eugene and Adell Snead; grandpar- ents, Fred and Minnie Kelly; and a brother, Sam Snead.
Kenneth leaves behind to cherish her memories and life: daughter, Latisha Scurry; grandchildren, Imani Fields and Delltorrio Johnson; sib- lings, Tonia McWhite, Janice Snead, Tony Kelly, Darnell McWhite, Bernard Snead (Anita), and Norris Snead (Kathy); nieces, Aramis, Tay- lor, Jasmine, Destiny, Nyla, Christina and Daphaney; nephews, Octavious, DeMarco and Tony, Jr.; and other nieces and nephews; special friends, Lydia Graham, Maggie Butler, the Starks family, Clarence Maxwell (Carrie), and The Shriners’ Children Hospital family; and a host of other rel- atives and friends.

MRS. INEZ M. GRIER
Mrs. Inez M. Grier of Tampa, passed away Satur- day, April 2, 2016.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 9 at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Rev- erend L. C. Black, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Grier was a native of Seffner, FL, and was educated in the public schools of Hills- borough County, graduating from Middleton Senior High School, Class of 1948.
She was a member of Bible Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev- erend L. C. Black, where she served in many capacities such as: Usher, Church Histo- rian, Church Treasurer and Senior Missionary Board, until her health began to fail.
Mrs. Grier retired in 2004 as a Front Desk Operator at the Hillsborough County Property Appraiser Office.
Mrs. Grier loved her family and she loved God.
Mrs. Grier was preceded in death by: her parents, James and Maggie Hill; two broth- ers, Leonard Hill and James A. Hill; three sisters, Mable Belin, Edna Barnes and Madelyn Shumate; and a grandson, Keith Grier.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving sons, Reuben H. Grier, Jr. (Linda), and Donald M. Grier, both of Tampa; seven grandchildren, Reuben Grier, III, Antonio Grier, Shawn'tel Booth of Billings, MT, Darrell Sanders, Donald M. Grier, Jr., Der- maine Grier and Demille Grier; seven great grandchil- dren; three nieces, including a loving and devoted niece and caregiver, Linda Shu- mate, Marva Belin, and Alma Hill of Tatum, SC; and a host of grandnieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m., Friday, April 8 at Ray Williams Funeral Home. The family will be present from 7-8 p. m.
