have the rest of the day off.
Sam left the skyscrapers’ courtyard
entrance and walked into the high street
that was already starting to get busy as
it was the start of the rush hour. He
suddenly became aware of the lack of
sleep he had had and could barely keep
himself awake on the way back home
as he sat on the top floor of the bus,
wishing that glass was made of a softer
material as he kept banging the left side
