An action adventure story, deeply rooted in nature and ecology, carrying a message of hope and resilience.

The earth is faltering. Deep in the soul of the world a being is growing, fed by the destruction of the natural
world, it is The Forgetting. The Forgetting is seeping through the Rings of Time, bringing storms, Dark Rain,
poisoned mists, and deep fractures in the earth. The Rings are nearing collapse. Help is needed.

Escaping the torment of his neighbours, the twins, Jack runs into the woods and the ancient Tree Council see
their chance, Jack is their hope. Transporting Jack via the Root Network to their Tree Council circle, they ask
Jack and his scruffy dog Stan to undertake a dangerous journey to help restore the balance, to bring about a
remembering. To Jacks horror however, the trees mistakenly bring Mia, one of the twins, into the Root Network
and their lives are entwined in a way they could never have anticipated, with Mia becoming an unlikely
companion for Jack on this journey.

The adventure takes them beyond their wildest imaginings - meeting wonderful wise elders from the natural
world, confronting tempestuous primal worlds, turbulent rivers, and a mighty storm - with near tragic
consequences. Discovering strengths, friendships, belonging and hope. Can they help bring about a collective
        remembering?
