This art medium is not an inexpensive one. Mark joyfully pulled out piece
after piece of rare blown glass sheets that he had the good fortune to obtain
and that he works into various pieces. His nearest supplier is in New Jersey
and traveling with a vehicle laden with expensive glass over Maine roads is
surely nerve-wracking. After decades of creating with glass, Mark shows no
signs of slowing down. Recently he’s been creating wood bases for his lamp-
shades, retaining the rawness of the wood and pairing it with the delicate glass
shades creating a one-of-a-kind piece.
Mark and his glass creations can be found at various trade shows throughout
Maine from July to October and at his home studio located at 6 Steam Mill
Road, Robbinston. To learn more about the artist and his work, please visit
