Indian Her age Days Celebration


         at Indian Township during September



        Passamaquoddy Tribal Lands, Indian Township on rural Route 1 just north of Princeton, will hold its annual
        Wabanaki cultural arts and heritage days celebration: traditional handcrafted one-of-a-kind ash splint and sweet
        grass baskets (note that some of these basket makers have items in the Smithsonian) flutes, dream catchers, birch

        bark baskets, beaded jewelry, wood carvings, curly bowls, native dolls, walking sticks, art works and a display of
        numerous books about Maine Tribes.  There will also be dancing, drumming, and demonstrations.
