To form an Am chord you will place your fingers onto the green FretBand labels.
1. Place your second finger (middle) on the second fret of the D string. You’re on the fourth string,
second fret. This note is a E.
2. Place your ring finger down on the second
fret of the G string. This is the second fret,
third string. This note is a A.
3. Place your index (pointer) finger on the first
fret of the B string. This is the first fret, sec-
ond string. This note is a C.
4. Strum only the highest five strings.
(Remember, when you see X next to a
string you must either mute the string or don’t
play it at all.)
5. From top to bottom, pick each string indi-
vidually while listening for any problems.
