Screw reputations. They can be so unfair.
In this chapter I am going to offer you up a technique to build a personal therapeutic mantra that can supercharge ARP – Mantras.
Mantras are like Affirmations, and they are more carefully constructed. For some, mantras hold a reputation of being that new age-y stuff that is all hocus pokus, yet experience has proven that reputation to be unjust. Hundreds of people world-wide have used this technique over the ages to transform their lives.
The concept of Mantras comes from many ancient traditions including the Vedic tradition. They saw sound as a vibration, and in believing all things had vibrational energy, they learned that one could impact vibrations with vibrations. We now know that this belief is good science. All things at their most basic levels are composed of particles of energy with unique vibrations and frequencies. Unfortunately, this science is now used to develop weaponry and various forms of energy (vibrations) can be modulated and directed at machinery or humans to disable or destroy them. We are going to use this power for good!
We also understand a bit more about the brain, and neuroplasticity. We are beginning to learn how to make change and rewire our neuro circuity. And now, so do you. By now you should understand how intentionally repeating a well crafted statement that makes you feel good will change your thoughts, and in turn, create a new experience of life for you when used with Intention, Repetition and Reward (IRR).
Too often we don’t chose what we think, and when we let thoughts run unmonitored and unchecked, they embed physically into your neuro wiring. These thoughts then become the biology of our beliefs, and often they do not serve us well.
