will likely have heard of many of the ideas and techniques in this book, such as mindful meditation and breathing exercises. You may have even tried many of them with some or limited success. I developed the ARP over many years through working with hundreds of clients. The protocol takes the best and most effective elements of each of the exercises and integrates them into a unique approach that simply works.
A few of quick notes before we begin: You may encounter things you believe you already know or have tried. Your success with the ARP will depend on you reading even these sections with an open mind. You might discover a new way of looking at something, or a slightly different and more powerful way of doing it. If you have experience in any one technique and it works for you, keep it up, but please do not skip the section in this book which addresses the technique. You will find it is presented and practiced in a unique way that, as a part of this program, will make it more powerful and will help you achieve a life free of panic attacks.
Second, this book is carefully structured to walk you through the ARP lessons and insights step by step. ARP’s approach is unique and is incredibly powerful. Your success will depend on walking through the program, step by step, in the manner it is presented. One of the reasons the ARP works so well is that it presents information and techniques in a very specific manner. If you miss how all these bits and pieces are presented, you may not get the same results so many others have.
On this journey of discovery, you’re likely to encounter both exercises and concepts that might seem a little crazy or ‘woo-woo.’ If you, like me, have a traditional Western clinical training or education background, your constructed worldview might get in the way of understanding and accepting these solutions.
