Greetings from the Delta Authors on Tour Chairpersons

Welcome to the 2020 Delta Authors on Tour (DAOT) stop in the South Atlantic Region
hosted by the Charlotte Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, incorporated.

At the third stop of Delta Authors on Tour, we celebrate eight outstanding authors from
four regions of the country. Thank you for joining us to recognize their literary work.

Our theme “High Tea in the Queen City: A Literary Affair,” speaks to the perseverance
and dedication of our authors in achieving their goals of writing and publishing quality
literature.

Our gratitude and thanks go to our president of the Charlotte Alumnae Chapter of Delta
Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Melody Harris; Juanita Massenburg, Regional Director of the
South Atlantic Region; and Precious Jemison, Regional Representative of the South
Atlantic Region

Our deep thanks go the steering committee members: Ann Austin, Renee Harrison,
Pamela Hart-Hemphill, Alisa Joseph, Nettie Lark, Pamela Lewis, Tamika McPherson, and
Konnie Rattley. The diligent efforts of the steering committee members are evident in the
quality planning and endeavors to prepare for the highest quality DAOT experience. Their
support is essential to DAOT’s success.

We look forward with optimism, to a great Delta Authors on Tour experience for our
authors and guests.
