Jessica Houghton
Class of 2023
Jessica is a true fighter and champion. At a young age she was diagnosed with dyslexia. She did not let this diagnosis define her, rather, she worked with a tutor and with hard work and perseverance, became a success story. When she later was diagnosed with Lupus, her fighting spirit shone through
again and she didn’t let it stand in her way. She now ranks among the top of her class and serves as an example to others. Whether it is as the Health Disparities Director of the Student Osteopathic Medical Association (SOMA) or volunteering with the Pomona community in the Pipeline program, Jessica has a winning attitude and a champion spirit.
