Father God in the Name of Jesus, your Word speaks so much about being the
light and dispelling darkness. Starting in Genesis you said, “Let there be
light,” and there was light (Gen 1:3). Your presence is light. You are the light
of the World and you are a light to our path. As long as we stay submitted
and committed to your ways, you will lead us. In 1 John 1:5 it says that, “God
is light, and in him is no darkness at all.” Your Word also says that, “the light
shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” Light and
dark cannot reside in the same space. The light will always overpower the
darkness and darkness will never win this ongoing battle. Darkness tries
hard, but never succeeds. Darkness has already been defeated by the Blood of
your Dear Son, Jesus Christ.

Lord Jesus, we thank you so much for your Blood. You willingly became the
sacrifice for our lives, for my life. You came because your Father loves this
world so much that He gave You, His only Son to save, heal and deliver this
dark world. Your light shined so that we may have life and have an abundant
life.

Thank you Holy Spirit for coming to live within us, so that we can see the
things of this world and no longer be blinded. As the old hymn says, I was
blind, but now I see, it’s also your word in John 9:25. When I didn’t know
you, I was in a state of blindness, but when the light of who you are was
introduced to my life, I now see the goodness of who you are and the pure
Agape Love that you possess.

Lord, I thank you for being the light in dark places and thank you that you
are mighty and powerful. You amaze me and it is my desire to serve you all
the days of my life.
