1.0 INTRODUCTION

Overview

1.1 This Technical Addendum to the Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) has been

prepared to directly respond to the comments raised by David Huskisson (of Huskisson Brown
Associates) dated 29 July 2020, and Alison Peters (the Urban Design officer) dated 12 August

2020, with respect to the Proposed Development on the Land to the Rear of Eden Meadows
(the ‘Site’) within Newington.

1.2 In addition, this Technical Addendum also confirms that following some changes to the layout
of the scheme that have sought to take on board the feedback gleamed through the

consultation process, the overarching findings and significance of effects reported in the LVIA
remain the same.

1.3 This Technical Addendum to the LVIA should be read in conjunction with:

• The Landscape Strategy Plan and accompanying Schedule and Specification Notes;
• The Landscape and Biodiversity Management Strategy (LBMS) Report;
• The Landscape Strategy Principles Document; and
• The LVIA itself.
