Refrigeration Waste / Scrap Disposal Procedure
Each item coming back to our warehouse as scrap needs to follow our waste disposal procedure.
Due to the nature of the waste we are required to have this uplifted by an approved waste collection service
who will remove the items from site and provide us with a waste transfer document detailing the items and
this doucment will be stored for official purposes.
Waste collection services are not something we can provide for free as a company due to the costs incurred by
Caterkwik. I have detailed for you below a list of prices which we expect you to charge to your customers when
a waste collection has been requetsed.
Our waste collections are conducted by Clock Wick Ltd - 01949 861086

The above are the set guide prices set by the waste collectors so we need to ensure that we charge our
customers accordingly.
For this procedure to take place you must fill in a returns sheet document 135 as usual and ensure the relevant
charges are paid for by the customer.
Shaun will be keeping records of the disposals on a log sheet so it is important that the returns document 135 is
completed correctly indicating waste disposal so the warehouse know what is expected through the back door.
Collections will be scheduled every two weeks unless there are large quantities building up at any point.
