Credit Procedures






               STEP 1     Credit notes need to be raised on customers’ accounts as soon as possible.




               STEP 2     The Sales Return needs to incorporate the following information -

                          Original SOP number
                          Original POP number

                          Items description and Product code

                          Reason for return

                          if it’s a CK return it needs an RET number

                          Whether there is any restocking applicable
                          Full credit due from supplier or not






                          A refund request form then must be filled and out put into Sophie’s top blue tray on her

               STEP 3     desk. She will refund all card / sage pay transactions.

                          If the customer paid via BACS or cheque the refund will need to be processed by Bev / Julie.



                          A memo needs adding to the customer account, explaining why a credit has been done, any
               STEP 4     reasons and a problem sheet adding to the customers account.




               STEP 5     A copy of the credit note needs sending to the customer for their records.
