• Q. Who else shows up on the locator but isn't highlighted for a zip code?
A. Non-Essilor Expert accounts that show up in the locator results are based on distance
from the most populous point in a zip code. For example, if the search radius is set to 20
miles, then the locator results will include practices outside of that zip code if the area of
the zip code is smaller than 20 miles. (The default radius on the locators is 5 miles).
• Q. What's the best way to let the ECP know when their advertising will start?
A. Practice Advertising is triggered by a customer successfully completing either the Office
Partnership Training (OPT) or the Essilor Experts Practice Workshop. Practice Advertising
is generally live within 2 weeks of the completion date.
• Q. The documentation says that we can see their click rate. Are we going to be able to
see only the national number or the ECP specific number.
A. Planned reporting on the Digital Marketing and Advertising for the ECP will include
practice specific metrics.
• Q. Is there a website that's being created for Experts accounts to be able to interact
with the program and stay on top of everything?
A. There is no website that is planned for Essilor Expert partners to interact with the
program. We are planning a CRM campaign that will alert them to program
developments, milestones, and important program updates.
• Q. There doesn't appear to be an enforcement clause in the contract. What are the
appropriate levels of escalation with an ECP that is unwilling to meet their contractual
goals?
A. At the first QBR, the initial compliance discussion should be a more open, “light-touch”
conversation with the account around what the expectations are around compliance.

By the 2 QBR you should be prepared to have a more direct conversation and be able to
dig more deeply into the reasons for non-compliance.
Each customer discussion will be unique and we recommend working with your sales
manager to determine the right approach with each of your Expert customers.
