REGISTERING FOR THE WORKSHOP
WHO RECEIVES THE REGISTRATION INVITATION?
• Invitations are sent to all Essilor Experts within the local market determined in the selection
process (detailed above).
• Invitations to register for the local Workshop are sent via email to the designated training
resource determined on the Welcome Call.
• If no resource is designated on the Welcome Call, or subsequent meetings, the
invitation will be sent to staff members who are identified in the following “Contact
Roles” in SFDC and have an email address in the Contact Record:
“Signer”
“Decision Maker/Principal”
“Training Scheduling Contact”
• A sample is attached in the Appendix
HOW DO I REGISTER FOR THE WORKSHOP IN MY AREA?
• Invitations to register for the local Workshop are sent via email to the designated training
resource determined on the Welcome Call
• If no resource is designated on the Welcome Call, or subsequent meetings, the
invitation will be emailed to the Signer or Decision Maker/Principal
• Registration is easy. Simply follow the link in the email and complete the necessary information
• Tip: If you have not received the invite as expected, check the Spam/Junk folders in your
email inbox.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE REGISTRATION INVITATION?
• Invitations are planned to be sent eight (8) weeks prior to the scheduled event. In some cases,
due to local circumstances, the invitations may be sent with less than eight weeks notice
WHICH OF MY STAFF MEMBERS NEED TO ATTEND?
• The Workshop training has been developed with Optical Staff in mind. If you need to prioritize
staff attendance, start with those staff members that work in the dispensary and are actively
engaged in the dispensing process with your patients. Doctors are welcome to attend.
IS THERE A LIMIT TO HOW MANY OF MY STAFF CAN ATTEND?
• In its current design, the capacity of each Workshop is 45 attendees. With that in mind, and to
accommodate as many practices as possible, we ask that Optical staff be given priority when
selecting which of your staff should attend
• We typically offer two, one-day sessions to help accommodate for practices with larger Optical
staff. In some cases, however, due to local needs we will only have a one-day session
HOW DO I REGISTER MULTIPLE STAFF MEMBERS?
• Follow the link in the email and every staff member that is going to attend independently.
DO I NEED TO CLOSE MY OFFICE?
• The choice to close your practice is yours. In most markets, we will offer two, one-day sessions
to give you the option to send partial staff each day and allow your practice to stay open to
schedule patient appointments
