Some signs are whimsical

We headed back to camp down the White Star track and it soon became clear why we had heard
Bruce advising his team over the radio to engage their diff locks and whatever else they had as
they had headed up this track. It was a nice steep track starting with rocky sections including a
couple of steps, followed by a deeply rutted slippery muddy section with a tricky narrow gap
between logs that kept the driver busy and the passenger white knuckled for a while.

All vehicles made it through without incident and it made for stories to share when we arrived
back in camp.

It is drives like these, teaching us so much and testing vehicles and drivers, which make 4 wheel
driving trips so much fun.
