Friday Night

Mary

Wet & stormy all morning in Mooroolbark.
We left for trip after work on road by 3pm.
Stopped in Mansfield for coffee & quick stop, then on to Pikes flat.
Steve had sent turn by turn instructions from Mansfield.
Left in to Mt Stirling road, we tried to lock in Hubs to no avail, we didn’t think about pliers.
I drove right along Circle Road then turned right into Bindaree Road.
So drive a bit slow on unfamiliar roads. One car over edge & 2 tow trucks rescuing it.
Eventually I make contact over CB with Dodgy & Steve but had to keep stopping to use CB as
with Shane's hearing unable to use.

We arrived at Bindaree falls to see Dodgy's below with all his lights.
What a welcome sight.
So with great trepidation we put truck in four wheel drive & crossed the river.
On getting to other side tyres deflated, I bailed.
Leaving Shane to drive up the track. Steve had his hand on Shane’s knee most of the way!!!!
(Which earlier in the day some had to be winched up. Unbeknown to us! )

Relax around campsite while I, (Not feeling too flash slept)
While the rest of the party went out to visit Craig’s Hut & Bluff Hut.
Saturday Night Pizza’s ???? Again thanks to Steve & Dodgy and the rest of the Cooks.
What Pizza’s out in the bush, I must be hearing wrong.
But It was true. Steve done all the cooking and wow, I wasn’t hearing things.
Absolutely fantastic, I stuffed myself until I couldn’t stand the sight of another pizza.

Everyone flat out working !
