FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS -FAQS

        The agent cannot log in to their Easy Street account. How are their password and/or log in credentials
        reset?
        Send an email to: easystreet@kemper.com.

        The only person permitted to receive login information is the person whose name is on the account. Verification items
        include:

            •  Last four digits of their social security number
            •  Answer to their Security Question (if the agent forgets their answer, ask for other identifying information such
               as their date of birth)

        This information should never be given to a wife, secretary, Sales Executive, etc. without the account owner’s verbal
        permission.
        How many times may a participant register?
        Each participant may register only ONE time, regardless of the number of agency codes assigned to an agency.

        The individual only has a Personal Identification Number (PIN). May they participate in Easy Street?

        No. Individuals must have a social security number in order to participate.

        Is a Business Tax Identification Number permitted?

        No. Individuals must have a social security number in order to participate.

        Why is a W9 required?
        As required by law, money redeemed through the Easy Street program is taxable. All points redeemed are taxable and
        subject to receive a 1099 for the amount redeemed during a calendar year.


        What information is required in order to submit the W9?
        The participant’s Name, Agency Code, Agency Ownership (Yes or No) and Contact Number are required when submitting
        the W9.

        Where do I send the completed W9?
        The completed W9 should be emailed to: easystreet@kemper.com.

        What happens when the W9 is submitted?
        Upon receipt of the W9, each account will go through an IRS verification process.

        How will a participant know when their account has passed IRS verification?
        The participant will receive an email once their account has passed the IRS verification process.

        Can the Tax Identification Number be changed when updating a W9?
        No. The Tax Identification number should not be updated. The agent will need to create a new account.
