YBhg. Profesor Dato’ Dr. Azizan turut YBhg. Professor Dato’ Azizan also continues
menyumbang dalam pentadbiran di Universiti to contribute to Universiti Malaya’s administration.
Malaya. Beliau pernah berkhidmat sebagai Ahli He served as a Senate Member and held other key

jawatan pentadbiran sebagai Ketua Jabatan Department of Geography, as well as the Deputy
Geografi, Timbalan Dekan (Ijazah tinggi) Fakulti Dean (Higher Degree) at the Faculty of Arts and
Sastera dan Sains Sosial, Pengarah Pusat Social Sciences, Director of the National Antartic
Pengajian Antartika Kebangsaan dan Timbalan Research Centre (NARC), and Deputy Director of
Pengarah Institut Sains Samudera dan Bumi. the Institute of Ocean and Earth Sciences (IOES).
Beliau kini masih berkhidmat sebagai Felo Currently Professor Dato’ Dr. Azizan still serves as
Penyelidik Kanan di Institut tersebut. a Senior Research Fellow at IOES.
Ybhg. Profesor Dato’ Dr. Azizan telah YBhg. Profesor Dato’ Azizan is married to
mendirikan rumah tangga dengan Datin Dr. Datin Dr. Fadhilah Zowyah Lela Yasmin binti
Fadhilah Zowyah Lela Yasmin binti Mansor dan Mansor and they are blessed with four children.
