Executive and Operational Staff
Assessors may be students who have a working relationship with staff, such as:
• Undergraduate Students
• Postgraduate Candidates
Student Bodies (Societies, Clubs, MPP, etc.)
Student (Internal
Client) The number of Assessors nominated by PYD is between seven (7) and twelve (12)
The selection of two (2) assessors is done randomly by the system
Assessors may consist of the following:
• UM staff
• Have a working relationship and are from a different PTj
The number of Assessors nominated by PYD is between seven (7) and twelve (12)
Internal Client
The selection of two (2) assessors is done randomly by the system
Assessors may consist of the following:
• Non-UM Staff, either from Malaysia or overseas (Suppliers, contractors, MoHE,
MOSTI, retirees, etc.)
• Have a working relationship (official affairs such as auditing, organising
44 External Client conferences, dealing with contractors’ site visits, ordering food from caterers,
etc.)

The selection of two (2) assessors is done randomly by the system
In the implementation of NTP assessment, the determination of
stakeholders is based on stratified random sampling in which PYD is
allowed to suggest 7 to 12 stakeholders for each cluster. The number
of stakeholders who will conduct the assessment is between 7 and
12 (Philip, 2000). Subsequently, the system will automatically select 2
assessors among the said stakeholders who have been nominated.
