Man should think carefully at the time he speaks Lashon Hara to אָמָתְסִּמוּ[ דָחֶאְו םיִמָעְפּ הָאֵמ הֶנוֹשַּׁל ,םיִמָעְפּ הָאֵמ וֹקרְִפּ
some other person. He should not think that in the house where
he is speaking there is no other living creation other than himself רֹזֲחַל םיִלְשִׁה אלֶֹּשׁ הֶמַּבּ ירֲֵה .]תוְֹצִמ ירְֵמוֹשְׁבּ ןיִדַּה אוּה
and his friend. But rather Above, they are standing next to him ,םיִהלֱֹא דֵבוֹע וֹניֵא ארָקְִנְו .וֹכּרְֶע ערְָגִנ ,וֹרֵבֲחַכּ וֹדוּמִּל
and they are recording everything that comes out of his mouth.

Teh’tzeh (6 perasha) commenting on the pasuk (Kohelet 5:5)
“Don’t say in front of the angel that it was all a mistake and why וֹא ,תוּנָציֵל וֹא ,רקֶֶשׁ ןוֹגְכּ ,םֶהֵמ הֶזיֵאְבּ ריִהָז הָיָה אלֹ
should Elokim become angered because of your voice.” Do not ,תוּליִכרְוּ ערָָה ןוֹשָׁל ןֵכֶּשׁ לָכְו ,םיִנָפּ תַנָבְּלַה וֹא ,תקֶלֲֹחַמ
think to say “I will go and speak Lashon Hara and no one else
will know it.” HaKadosh Baruch Hu tells this man “Know that וֹתירֲִחַאְבּ םֹהְנִיְו ,דֹאְמ דֹאְמ וֹכּרְֶע ַעוּרָגּ יאַדַּוְבּ ,וֹבּ אֵצוֹיַּכְו
I am sending an angel who will stand next to you and record יִתאֵנָשׂ ךְיֵא :רַמאֹיְו ,וֹשְׁפַנ לַע וֹרֵאְשׁוּ וֹרָשְׂבּ תוֹלְכִכּ
everything you have said about your fellow Jew.
לָכּ לַע וֹתרָוֹתְבּ ריִהְזִהֶשׁ ,'ה לוֹקְל יִתְּעַמָשׁ אלְֹו ,רָסוּמ
At the time this man is judged, they will play back to him everything
that he ever spoke, as Chazal have said (Gemara Hagigah 5b) in לָכִּמ וֹמְצַע תֶא רֹמְשִׁל הֶארְִי ,וֹשְׁפַנ רֵמוֹשַּׁה ןֵכּ לַעְו ?וּלֵּא
commentary on the pasuk (Amos 4:13) “He forms mountains and וֹל בוֹט הֶיְהִיְו ,רֶפֵסַּה ףוֹסְבּ וּנְמַשׁרֶָשׁ ,םירִָבְדּ הרָָשֲׂעָה וּלֵּא
creates wind and tells man all of his conversations,” even the
most casual conversation between husband and wife are told to .אָבַּבוּ הֶזָבּ
him at his Judgment. The Sifri (piska #307) comments on the
pasuk (Devarim 32:4) “Gd of faith with no iniquity.” When man
