- Theory behind clocks
- How Pendulum Clock works
- Gear Train and determining compound gear ratios (multiple stages)
- Escapement designs
- Use of various materials, tools and techniques for prototyping and product realisation.
During the workshop, the students learnt to-
1. Use various materials from metal to plastics to wood
2. Understand the physical and practical behaviours of various materials
3. Learn how to make Pendulum Clocks practically and technically correct.
4. Use various tools and equipment
5. Sustain projects from conception to realization
6. Appraise and evaluate their work in progress and on completion
