Results
Timeframe
1. Many participants attended the e-learning course “Introduction to Airport EMS,” with positive feedback.
2. CAAT disseminated infographics on Airport EMS through its online platforms, including Facebook and the official website.
3. On-site awareness campaigns were successfully conducted at five regional airports (Mae Sot, Trang, Khon Kaen, Hat Yai, and Sukhothai).
4. Three airports (Hat Yai, Mae Sot, and Samui) were selected to receive full support for EMS implementation in 2025.
5. A promotional video on Airport EMS was also released through CAAT's online channels.

Objective
To support and exchange experiences about CORSIA across the ASEAN region.
Summary
The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) collaborates with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Indonesia (DGCA Indonesia) to host the 2nd ASEAN Workshop on CORSIA during 2024-2025. The workshop is a part of ATWG Workplan 2023-2024, aiming to enhance efficiency in Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA) implementation among ASEAN countries.
Experiences are shared among aviation regulatory organizations, airlines, and auditing departments of ASEAN members. The workshop includes data presentation by related international organizations/ departments, which are International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), International Air Transport Association (IATA), Institute for Global Environmental Strategies regarding updated CORSIA requirements, the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) for carbon emissions reduction, and the application of CORSIA Eligible Emissions Units (CEUs) for carbon offsetting. These discussions facilitated the exchange of best practices and supported the development of future collaborative projects.
