Project: Development of an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Database for Certification, Authorization, and Public Services (Ongoing Project)
(Project Duration: April 2022–June 2024)
The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), in collaboration with a contracted developer, completed the development of a database system for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) on 31 May 2024. This system is designed to streamline processes related to:
• UAS operator registration
• Aircraft registration
• Pre-registration testing for UAS operators The system facilitates efficient operations for both
CAAT personnel and the general public, enhancing service delivery, certification, and regulatory oversight for unmanned aircraft activities in Thailand.
