กพิ่ที่. ด้ําาเนินการจัด้สำัมมนาเช่ิงปีฏิิบิัตัิการหัวข้อ ภาคัการบิิน ของไที่ยตั่อการเปีล่ยนผู้่านเช่้อเพิ่ลิงการบิินที่่ยังย้น (Sustainable Aviation Fuel: SAF) โด้ยได้้เช่ิญวิที่ยากรจากหน่วยงาน ที่่เก่ยวข้องเพิ่้อให้คัวามร้้ มุมมอง และแลกเปีล่ยนปีระสำบิการณ์์ เม้อวันที่่ 16 มกราคัม 2567 รวมถึึงได้้ร่วมกันกําาหนด้การปีระชุ่ม ร่วมกับิคัณ์ะอนุกรรมการพิ่ิจารณ์าแนวที่างการกําาหนด้มาตัรการ และการสำนับิสำนุนการใช่้เช่้อเพิ่ลิงการบิินที่่ยังย้น (SAF) รวม 4 คัรงั ในปีี 2567 โด้ยจากการปีระชุ่มคัณ์ะอนุกรรมการพิ่ิจารณ์าแนวที่างฯ จําานวน 4 คัรงั สำ่งผู้ลให้ กพิ่ที่. ม่แนวที่างการกําาหนด้มาตัรการและ การสำนับิสำนุนการใช่้เช่้อเพิ่ลิงการบิินที่่ยังย้น โด้ยแบิ่งออกเปี็น 2 แนวที่าง ได้้แก่
1) แนวที่างการด้ําาเนินงานเพิ่้อแกไขผู้ลกระที่บิหากม่การ ลด้การใช่้เช่้อเพิ่ลิงช่่วภาพิ่ที่่ใช่้เปี็นเช่้อเพิ่ลิงในภาคัขนสำ่ง 2) แนวที่างการสำ่งเสำรมิ การผู้ลตัิ และการใช่เ้ ช่อ้ เพิ่ลงิ อากาศยาน

Project: Study on Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) Implementation for Thailand’s Aviation Sector and Update of the State Action Plan (Project Duration: January 2024-July 2025)
The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has undertaken the following initiatives:
1. Drafting a Master Plan for Energy Conservation and Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction in the aviation sector
2. Developing an Action Plan for Energy Conservation and Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction
3. Preparing Policy Guidelines and Best Practices for the Implementation of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) in Thailand’s aviation industry
These initiatives are compiled into a progress report aimed at providing CAAT with a comprehensive and up-to-date framework for the implementation of SAF and an updated State Action Plan (SAP). This will enable Thailand to submit its revised SAP to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in accordance with the required timeline.
Project: Integrating Domestic and International Collaboration to Promote the Use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in Thailand
(Project Duration: January-December 2024)
The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) organized a technical seminar titled “Thailand’s Aviation Sector and the Transition to Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)” on 16 January 2024. The event featured speakers from relevant organizations who shared insights, knowledge, and experiences on SAF implementation.
In addition, CAAT held a total of four meetings in 2024 in collaboration with the Subcommittee on the Development of Measures and Promotion of SAF Usage, aimed at determining practical policy directions and supportive mechanisms for SAF adoption.
As a result of these four subcommittee meetings, CAAT formulated two key strategic directions:
1. Mitigation Measures – Addressing potential impacts arising from the reduction of biofuel usage in other transport sectors.
2. Promotion Strategy – Supporting the domestic production and use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel in Thailand.
A summary report outlining these strategies was submitted to the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Energy on 16 December 2024.
