PRODUCTIVITY GAINS

 AND COST SAVINGS THANKS TO J-1170

 M J Teale Plant Hire Ltd is a privately owned haulage and plant hire firm which has been operating in Blackpool, Wyre
 & The Fylde Coast, Lancashire for over 45 years. Undertaking large or small contracts, from bulk earth moving, land
 restoration, lake construction to tip lining and covering the company also offers mineral extraction, muck away, site
 clearance and demolition services. In addition to its core businesses MJ Teale has an 8-acre recycling facility in Poulton-
 le-Fylde producing recycled aggregates from selected construction and demolition wastes.
 Following a demonstration earlier in the year, the company has taken delivery of a Terex Finlay J-1170 jaw crusher
 which was installed in early summer and now outputs 6F2 crusher material at a rate of 200 tonnes per hour for the North
 West construction market. Mick Teale is the Managing Director of the family owned firm. He’s very impressed with the
 productivity of the machine and quality of output;

 “ Not only have we seen a saving in the amount of fuel we’re using

 but also in the amount of downtime. We’re definitely crushing
 material quicker and seeing a cleaner end product as well. As a

 company we’re growing all of the time and this machine is proving
 to be much more cost effective for us. We had the machine out on

 demonstration and we were impressed with what we saw and it
 was competitively priced. Knowing that we would have the service
 and back-up from Finlay Central was a real reassurance too. ”
