MasterPlanning and Several Staged Projects |
Ballarat

We are currently designing a gathering & exam centre, an extension of music facilities, the
refurbishment of science labs and a new STEM centre.
Damascus is an example of a coherent and enduringly relevant Masterplanning process, involving
the modernising refurbishment of existing areas and elevating amenity through the careful
selection of new build. In the mid 2000s Damascus College wished to consolidate from two
campuses and in the face of competition renew its presence, identity and value proposition to the
community. We undertook the Masterplanning, and have walked with the College through 4 Stages
of construction. In early 2017 we conducted a review to assist with a STEAM and Performing Arts
Precinct.

Stage 1 : New and refurbished Admin Centre, general and hospitality learning spaces
Stage 2 : New Trade Centre, Staff work/lounge centre and science and arts learning spaces refurb.
Stage 3 : New 2 Storey Yr. 9 Learning Community, Chapel, and new music and drama hub
Stage 4 : Refurbishment of Yr. 7&8 learning hub into flexible general learning, collaborative
breakout, withdrawal and connected office spaces
