Activity: Solution of Linear equation in one variable using coloured papers.
Visuals and hands-on experiences always enhance the joy of learning at any age
Keeping this in mind, the students found out the solutions of given linear equations using
coloured paper cutouts. Different coloured shapes were marked as variables and constants.
Proper placement of these shapes according to the equation given, followed by the method of
transposing, made the students understand the concept in a better way. They were overjoyed
when they obtained the same solution through mathematical way after the activity was
accomplished.
