Topic: Seed to plant
“If you want a child's mind to grow you must first plant a seed of knowledge”
Concept of ‘Seed to Plant’ was introduced to PP3 kids through a story “The lonely seed”.
Facilitators showed the process of sowing the seeds and how a plant grows stage by stage. They
also showed the parts of plants, types of leaves, and explained about the uses of trees and
plants. The children imbibed the same and understood the importance of growing plants and
trees in our life. The children made a flip book on stages of seed to plant and drew a picture of
the plant in their drawing book and labelled its parts.
