Water cycle
“If there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water”
The water cycle describes the existence and movement of water on, in and above the earth.
The concept of ‘Water Cycle’ was introduced to the children of PP3 through a story of ‘The Sun,
Clouds and Water Droplets’. Children thoroughly enjoyed the story. They learnt that the water
is a precious gift of nature and we must not waste it. They also learnt about sources of water and
their importance. To strengthen the concept, facilitators and children drew the process of water
cycle and coloured it.
