Activity: Parts of a plant and experiment to understand the needs of plants
Warren Buffet rightly said “Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone
planted a tree a long time ago”. The students were asked to get a plant of their choice
and they learnt the different parts of the plant by closely observing them. They also
learnt the functions of the different parts of the plant. They learnt that sunlight, air and
water are the basic needs of plants through an experiment.
