The students were shown different objects like socks, gloves, earrings, scissors, mobile phone,
and bangle. They were asked to observe and find out the difference. Students identified that
objects like gloves, socks are in pairs. They were asked to be ready with ice cube tray and
beads. They were given different numbers and were asked to group them into pairs using the
beads and tray. With this activity, children understood that the numbers which can be fully
grouped are even numbers and the numbers that cannot be fully grouped are odd
number. Children participated enthusiastically and enjoyed the activity.
