Under each picture of the monument, mention the name of the monument and rock used to build
that monument.
A. D. Posey has rightly said “Rocks and Minerals are the oldest storytellers”. The rocks and
minerals help us to comprehend the stages of formation of our Earth. This activity helped the
students to know the different kinds of rocks used for constructing different monuments and
also focussed on interdisciplinary learning in them as they made an effort to know more about
the historical monuments of India and their locations.
