T Table 15: SCH taken by Major

This table indicates the distribution of student credit hours to students who major in the same
departments. The lowest percentage and rank correspond to majors who predominantly offer
courses to students from other departments, i.e., to service departments.
When departments who do not have their own majors (Military science, Naval science,
General education are excluded, the lowest percentage have Science and Math education,
Mathematics, Physics, and Science/Mathematics Education, Department of Languages and
Literature and Department of Economics and Finance.

The highest percentages have School of Nursing, Department of Educational Theory, Policy
and Practice (has only grad program), Department of Speech Language & Pathology,
Department of Criminal Justice, Department of Social Work, Department of Rehabilitation
and Disability Studies and Department of Agricultural Sciences and Urban Forestry.
