The school also needs an ideal teacher who will be able to explore a wide variety
of resources and strategies in order to help the learners to understand more and
engage more with the content. The teacher should be able to award the learners an
opportunity to move around the classroom and make it feel like a safe space, not
an environment whereby learners come to sit one in front of the other, watch a
video, listen to the teacher, write notes then leave to the next classroom. Learners

need to be able to do more in the classroom because it is their home away from
home.

The school also needs an ideal teacher who understands that teaching and learning
is not confined by classroom walls but rather that teaching, and learning takes
place wherever the learners and the teacher are. It is important for learners to know
that they can learn from wherever they are. This means taking the learners out to
the fields, road trips and even in the quad. This enables learners to open their
minds to new ideas, they see and explore different ways of explaining and
understanding the content. They become more hands on instead of minds on.
