fdi! The Key Club had an active year starting by collecting food jjjiit at Thanksgiving. They continued to show their concern by running a Christmas Wish Tree for needy children. The 0 response was so great that about 30 children received a bag of gifts each. Again they had full support in a clothing drive .ff# in February that resulted in 50 bags of clothes being sent to
the Salvation Army.
Still, they Key Club is supporting their foster child, Rosa
Fluerenten, in Haiti. And they had their Annual Blood Drive
through the Red Cross in March. Mrs. Gray, the advisor, is proud to be able to boast that our school had a higher participation rate than any other school in our area. A new annual tradition of a "Senior Prom" for the senior citizens at Meridian was started this year.
Extending its reach to the Lower School, the Key Club organized an Easter Egg Hunt for the Kindergarten and first grade classes. In addition, a Builders Club was started for the sixth and seventh grades to participate in.
