FOURTH GRADE
Fourth graders study anatomy.
Mrs. Elizabeth Niemann, who teaches the fourth grade, introduced this year many new concepts in several different areas.
The students, using the methods of "new math," learned to multiply large numbers.
English studies included use of the dictionary, puncĀ tuation, and the parts of speech. Reading tests and spelling drills were daily occurrences. The class also studied New Jersey, its products, and its history.
The class ended the year ready for the fifth grade.
