M. R. E.—“Where’s that?
C. W.-—-“Hilda, you are the funniest girl I’ve ever seen.
H. P. (a few days later) i4Con, does funny mean the same as queer
C. W. (innocently)— “ Yes, Hilda.”
J. W. (imitating Miss Shaw)— “ Prances, if you aren’t out of the tub in one minute. I’m going to give you a mark.”
P'. M.—“You can’t fool me. Jack.” J. W.—“Very well, Frances.”
(Long pause follows)
F. M. (getting worried)— “ Is that reallv vou, Miss Shaw?” J. W.—“Yes, Frances.”
