Andy probably ranks as one of the Greatest soccer players the school has ever had. He first made varsity as one of the only two freshmen on the
1985 roster. That year he was selected as an All-State Honorable mention and also traveled to Brazil with the Puma National All-Stars. After a two-year absence from W-H, he returned as a junior and dominat ed the preps that fall and was chosen for All-State first pick, recognizing him as the number one defenseman in the preps. This year he Co-Captained the team and was chosen team MVP. He again made All-State but was second pick to a player from Prep B Co-Champion Dwight-Englewood.

Shawn Crockett
Craig did something very unusual that no other soccer player has ever done at W-H: receive statewide recog nition for two different positions. In his first year of varsity he was an aggressive and exciting sophomore fullback who earned All-State Honora ble Mention. In both the next two years he received the same award for goalkeeper. At goalie in hisjunior year his efforts earned him the team's Most Improved Award. This year he Co-Captained the team and was given the team's Coach's Award.
Shawn was named All-State Honora ble Mention and was chosen for the team Coach's Award this year. The Beacon recognized him as the male athlete of the fall. His fine play at fullback persuaded Coach Ague to use him occasionally at a position where he could be more dominant, midfield. His relentless and aggressive attack kept the opposing offense at a dis tance.
